The purpose of this course is to provide participants with an understanding of the various aspects and issues relating to ethics in law enforcement.
An understanding of what influences ethical problem-solving is critical throughout a law enforcement career.
Concepts such as criminal justice ethics, law enforcement code of ethics, unethical behavior, and fair and unbiased policingare paramount.
After taking this training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the importance of ethical decision making
- Understand the ethical standards you must practice as an officer
- Understand the importance of officer ethics both on and off duty
